  1. Access to rooms, departure and arrival

The hotelier is free to refuse to receive guests whose dress is indecent and negligent, and whose behavior is noisy, improper, alcoholic, contrary to good morals and public order.

Any person wishing to stay at the Hotel is required to make known his identity and age as well as that of the persons accompanying him. The client may not bring into the room third parties not known to the hotelier (Order of the Prefect of Police of 28 October 1936 modified by Order Art. 9 of 1 February 1940), unless authorized by the latter. Similarly, the client may not occupy a room for a number of persons greater than that provided for by the regulations in force.

In the event of a breach of this regulation, the hotel reserves the right to charge the client responsible for the cost of the room corresponding to the number of persons in excess, whether or not the client is present, at the rates in force at the time of the breach of the internal regulations. The hotel will debit the credit card of the offending guest.

Upon arrival, unless agreed by the hotel owner, the client may not demand to occupy the room before 3 p.m. The nightly rental ceases at 11.00 am, regardless of the time of arrival of the client. Early check-in (from 1.30 pm) and late check-out (no later than 12.30 pm) may be requested, subject to availability. These additional services are subject to a charge and must be requested no later than 48 hours before the arrival date.
A luggage storage service allows guests to leave their luggage at the hotel reception desk on presentation of a ticket. The hotel declines all responsibility in the event of theft or deterioration of its property.

A bank imprint will be requested by the hotel on arrival. 

Upon departure, the guest must hand over the room key to the reception. It is forbidden to take any object belonging to the hotel: the guest must inform the hotel if he/she notices a mistake and send it back, otherwise he/she will be charged for it. The room key is a key that the guest may keep with him. However, he must not give it to a third party and it must be returned on the day of departure.

 

  1. Children and extra beds

Children are the sole responsibility of the guest. It is not allowed to leave them unattended in the room.

At the guest's request the hotel can provide a cot free of charge. The provision of a cot is subject to availability and can only be installed in the Comfort and Family rooms.

One child under 2 years stays free of charge when using existing bedding.

Children and adults older than 2 years are not allowed to use the bedding. The guest is required to request an extra bed from the hotel, which will be charged € 20.00 per day.

The provision of an extra bed is subject to availability.

The maximum number of baby cots in a room is 1.

The maximum number of extra beds in a room is 1.

Supplements are not automatically calculated in the total amount of the booking on the website and must be paid separately directly to the establishment.

 

  1. Pets

Small pets weighing up to 10 kg are allowed at a supplement of € 12. Pets are the sole responsibility of their owners. Pets are not allowed to be left alone in the room.

Guide dogs and assistance dogs are admitted free of charge with the prior agreement of the hotelier.

 

  1. Groups

A reservation is considered a group reservation if 4 or more rooms are booked. A deposit of 50% of the total amount of the reservation will be requested at the time of booking to confirm the group and a payment schedule is then established until the date of arrival of the group.

The conditions of modification, cancellation and payment are fixed individually for each group and indicated on the booking confirmation sent to the client.

The hotel reserves the right to cancel the group in the event of non-compliance with the terms of the reservation. The deposit paid will be retained in full by the hotel as compensation for the damage.

 

  1. Damage and nuisance

The client must use the rented property with due care.

The rooms made available to our guests are checked, functional and in good condition. Our guests are requested to report any deficiencies immediately to the hotel reception.

In the event of a problem, the guest will be held responsible. In the event of damage, the hotel reserves the right to charge the guest for the cost of repair or replacement. The same applies to any infringement found after the guest's departure, the amount of compensation will be debited to the guest's card.

In the event of voluntary or involuntary damage to materials, objects or furniture belonging to the hotel, the hotel may demand full reimbursement with a penalty and damages of € 1000 to € 2000.

In the event of flooding or water damage, whether voluntary or involuntary, the hotel may demand full reimbursement of the damage caused. In the event of damage to other rooms, the reimbursement of other guests' nights will be demanded.

The hotel may charge a cleaning fee if the room is left in a condition that is deemed unsuitable. In the event of damage to carpets, bedding or bed bases, the hotel will demand a refund of the damage with a minimum charge of € 1000 for repair and for the inability to re-let the rooms.

In general, the client will have to pay the damage caused directly to the hotel. They can call on their insurance (if they wish to be reimbursed) for any voluntary or involuntary damage they cause during their stay.

All our rooms are non-smoking. The hotel reserves the right to charge a one-night cleaning fee to any guest who smokes in their room. If the guest wishes to continue smoking inside or outside the designated areas, he/she will be asked to leave the hotel.

In the event of non-compliance with the hotel rules, the guest will be asked to leave the hotel without being able to claim any refund. The hotel reserves the right to deduct the amount of any undeclared consumption and damage in the room. This amount will be deducted from the bank imprint provided at the time of booking. The hotel will have no obligation to notify the guest but can provide an invoice on request.

Guests must not nail anything to the walls or move any furniture.

Disturbances, even during the day, are prohibited. Any guest causing disorder or scandal in any form whatsoever will be asked to leave the hotel immediately and without refund. In the interest of the tranquility of the establishment, all noise must cease between 10 pm and 8 am. For the respect and rest of other guests, please do not slam doors or make too much noise, especially between 10pm and 8am. Any neighborhood noise caused by the behavior of a person or animal under the responsibility of the guest may lead the hotelier to ask the guest to leave the establishment without the need to take acoustic measurements, as long as the noise generated is likely to disturb the peace and quiet of the guests (art. R.1334-30 and R; 1334-31 of the Public Health Code). Any inappropriate noise will be reported to the police if necessary.

A hotel room is a place of rest. Any trade is strictly forbidden.

 

  1. Prohibitions

For safety reasons and out of respect for everyone, smoking is strictly forbidden in the entire hotel. In accordance with the decree n°2006-1386 of 15 November 2006 setting the conditions for the application of the ban on smoking in places assigned to collective use, smoking in the hotel exposes you to an additional charge of € 50 or to legal proceedings.

It is forbidden to store bicycles in the rooms, even if they are packed. The hotel provides a closed room, accessible from 6:30 am to 9:30 pm, for the storage of bicycles.

Similarly, it is forbidden to cook in the rooms, to eat there or to bring drinks not provided by the hotel, as well as to do laundry there.

It is forbidden to hang out clothes to dry in public areas and terraces. 

 

  1. Complaints

After contacting the customer service department and failing a satisfactory response within one month, the customer may refer the matter to the Tourism and Travel Ombudsman, whose contact details and procedures are available on his website: www.mtv.travel

Any complaint about the quality of the services provided must be presented to the hotelier immediately.

 

  1. Safe deposit box

Identity papers and precious objects (watch, jewellery, means of payment, etc.) must be placed in the safe provided for this purpose and available in all rooms. The hotel cannot therefore be held responsible for the disappearance from the room of any of the above-mentioned items not locked in the safe.

 

  1. Forgotten items

Objects left behind or abandoned may be sold under the conditions laid down in the law of March 31st 1896. If the customer requests the return of his belongings by parcel or mail, this will be done with a follow-up and insurance for valuable objects. The shipment will be made after the customer has paid the shipping costs.

 

  1. Parking

The hotel provides 6 parking spaces for rent in a collective garage. It is therefore strongly recommended that you reserve your parking space at the time of booking. Any reserved parking space will be charged at a flat rate of € 11 per day, whether used or not. The rental period starts at the time of arrival and ends at the latest at 11.00 am on the day of departure. It is possible and subject to availability, to extend the rental period by a few hours at the price of € 2 per full hour.

This is a secure but unsupervised area.

We decline all responsibility in case of loss/theft/damage in the car park.

Vehicles with trailers or other attachments should be considered as two vehicles and therefore require two parking spaces. 

A 7kw charging point is available at extra cost and by reservation only.

LPG vehicles are not permitted in this garage.

 

  1. Skullduggery

Skullduggery is an offence characterized by the fact of consuming a good or service for which a charge is made:

- Knowing that you are unable to pay or deliberately determined not to pay.

- While pretending to be willing to pay.

Skullduggery is punishable by 6 months imprisonment and a fine of € 7500 in addition to damages.

 

  1. Acceptance of the house rules

 

The hotel's internal regulations apply to all direct bookings, internet or any other form of booking. Any stay implies acceptance of the special conditions and the hotel's internal regulations. Failure to comply with the above provisions shall result in immediate termination of the contract. In the event of non-compliance with the hotel's internal regulations, the client will be asked to leave the hotel without being able to demand any refund.

 

IN THE EVENT OF NON-COMPLIANCE BY THE GUEST WITH ANY OF THESE CONDITIONS, THE HOTEL OWNER SHALL BE OBLIGED TO ASK THE GUEST TO LEAVE THE HOTEL IMMEDIATELY AND WITHOUT ANY COMPENSATION.
